1. Fight fire aggressively but provide safety first. The firefighter is always aggressive in the firefight but keeps safety paramount. Donot let the desire to put the fire out overpower your common sense.
2. Initiate all actions based on current and expected fire behavior. To be successful in your fire fighting efforts, use your knowledgeof fire behavior to help you predict where the fire is going and how fast. Implement strategies and tactics that will allow you tobeat the fire to where it is going.
